Travel planning rooted in curiosity, care, and first-sight wonder.
I’ve always been drawn to that feeling you get when encountering something new for the first time — the walk through a new city, the first view of a skyline from a bridge, the first time you realize that you are somewhere entirely new. Those moments are what stay with me long after the trip ends.
My name is Jordan; I’m the less pretty one on the left. I created First Sight Explorations out of love for travel that feels grounded, thoughtful, and deeply human (and through the support of the prettier person on my right). This passion project has been inspired by years of curiosity, teaching, and a belief that meaningful exploration comes from paying attention.
Exploration, not just travel
“Exploration” means slowing down enough to notice, but not slowing down the planning process or overcomplicating things. It means:
Thoughtful pacing instead of packed schedules
Experiences that feel grounded in place, not generic
Clear plans that leave room for spontaneity
Support that feels present, calm, and human
Whether you’re stepping into a destination for the first time or returning with fresh eyes, the goal is the same: to help you experience those first-sight moments with confidence and clarity
How I work
I work closely with a limited number of clients at a time so that each journey gets the care it deserves. Communication is open, expectations are clear, and you’ll always know where things stand.
Some clients come to me with a clear vision. Others arrive with a feeling and a few ideas. Both are welcome here.
What matters most is that your trip feels like yours — not something pulled from a template or rushed to meet someone else’s definition of “must-see”.
Who this is for
First Sight Explorations is a great fit if you:
Value intentional planning and thoughtful design
Want clarity without rigidity
Care about how a trip feels as much as where you go
Appreciate communication, structure, and attention to detail
It may not be the right fit if you’re looking for last-minute planning, high-volume deal hunting, or fast-paced checklist travel. The goal is not to replicate an influencer’s “must-see” list; it is to tailor a trip to your interests and intentions.
